My wireless connection says validating identity
c) Select AES in the Encryption type dropdown menu.
b) Select WPA2-‐Enterprise in the Security type dropdown menu.
I added the AP as a client with and have tried using both RADIUS Standard and Cisco as the RADIUS type.
I configured the IAS policy to grant access to Domain Computers, Authentication is set to PEAP and uses a private cert issued by our CA, the other profile settings are all default.
At the top of the screen, where it says, Choose a wireless network, I get an [endless] Validating identity.
The network name for the secure wireless network is eduroam. The wireless Network Authentication type is WPA2 Enterprise. If your wireless device does not support WPA2/AES, select WPA authentication and TKIP encryption.
The "EAP Authentication Type" or "Outer Authentication Protocol" is PEAP or PEAPv0. Your password should be the password you use to access Office 365. If asked for an "Outer Identity", "Anonymous Identity" or "Roaming Identity", leave it blank. You should choose to Validate the Server Certificate.
The generic settings below will allow you to configure a wireless device to connect to eduroam.
Not all the configuration settings will be available on all devices.
